Matt and I met at a random party. Not very romantic but it has lead us to an amazing journey.

We were on a cruise to Singapore, he took me to the back of the boat and got on one knee…

We wanted a rustic/forest style and it is exactly what we got at the Boomerang farm.

My dress was…

My dress…WOW, it was the most perfect dress ever: more than I could have dreamed my wedding dress to be! I tried it on at the Slacks Creek store, in fact it was the first wedding dress I had ever tried on. I tried on about 7 dresses in total but could not look past the first one. It made me feel like a princess, it shaped my body perfectly and it was so comfy! LOVE is an understatement, it was just stunning! 

The best moment of the day…

One of the most special moments of the day for me was my dad seeing me in my dress for the first time, in fact just him being there was such an unforgettable moment for me as he has terminal cancer and I wasn’t sure if he would make it to the wedding.

Of course seeing my amazing husband at the end of the isle and seeing his face when he saw me was an amazing and relieving moment.

Also just to see all of our family and closest friends witness our love and happiness was just beautiful.

The best advice we can give to other couples about to get married is…

Just marry your best friend, never go to bed angry, always understand each other, compromise and always have a goodbye kiss as you never know what will happen on that day.

Don’t stress about the wedding, if something goes wrong no one will know. Enjoy the whole day, and spend every moment together as it goes so so fast!
